 October 17, 1992. A little kid was born and baptized with the name Samuel Lawrence Lopez Concepcion. As a little boy, he showeto be the Tween Heartthrob we know as of today. And now, he is a 16 year old fellow who is very blessed with talents and everything a teenager could ask for. Enough with that drama! :)) I was so fortunate to have a ticket to his birthday concert! Not only that, I was VERY fortunate to capture his attention.
As Sam said, "parang kailan lang I was playing with action figures and my hot wheels." Well said, he is also amazed and shocked by his achievements. More of, he can`t believe that his toys are now microphones, spotlights and cameras. Now, his playground is the stage.
October 18 2008. A very special day for me and ofcourse for Sam. Early in the morning I woke up, Opened my wallet, took out the ticket and stared at it for a few seconds. Ran downstairs and ate my breakfast. That very day, I had a conflict with my schedule which made me very hopeless and confused. After hours of confusion, I decided to ask my parents if I could go to both events. They said NO. So I texted my friends to inform that I couldn`t watch the Skecher`s competition.
Moving on, My family is about to drop me off to Music Museum, we went to the hospital. Unplanned, my sister had 3 blood tests which almost took us an hour and a half. Feeling terrible about it, I had to text the SCCs that I`ll be late for our 6 o`clock dinner.
After the long wait, I found myself seated at the back car seat again. My stomach felt jumpy as my dad gave me money. I went down our car and found a starex van behind us. Not knowing that Sam is inside the said vehicle. I looked for SCCs and found Janelle and Pausam. They told me that Sam is inside the starex and he`ll go home to freshen up.
A few walks, we met th e other SCC members. We ate at Mcdonalds.  I got myself a Quarter Pounder meal and wasn`t able to finish it because of excitement. We went back to the venue after having a wonderful dinner. While walking, I saw the starex again. With that, I saw tito ray unloading Sam`s clothes for the show. From a far, I peeked inside and I saw Sam. It made me scream "Uyyy si Sam!" which made the other SCCs peek from a far too. Though the glass is tinted. I think he saw us though. It made him hide a bit. He was wearing a hoodie, according to Ate Madz. :)) After seeing him, we went back to Music Museum. Played games with some of the SCCs such as "What would you bring","the name of the game is the first sound" and Ate Bea`s creepy trick which we weren`t able to continue.
Inside, I was seated alone. But then, J anelle and I transferred to the front seats beside Ate Claye and Ate Pausam. We were so afraid that we might get caught so we kept on looking back. =))The show started and we enjoyed the front acts. After the front  acts, there was a presentation of Sam as a baby, to a kid, then to what he is now. It made him laugh because the snaps looked very silly. Then he started singing and being so makulit. He was so hyper! :)  He started to discuss about ideal guys, crushes and what-so-ever. He started to walk and to interview people. I was the first one! :)) Sam: How old are you?Me: Uhh.. Fourteen.Sam: What do you like in a guy?Me:Mabait and Marunong sumayaw.Sam: Mabait ba ako eh inaway ko nga si Inaki kanina.What?! Hahaha. As If I was talking about him! Kidding. Yeah, Inaki and Sam had a mocking scene. :] T`was very funny though I wasn`t able to capture it on video. There`s this part where in Keven and Red entered the scene. Sam s aid thet they`re his "alalays" when he was still little. They are asking Sam to give the, an iPhone and a Macbook each! Hahaha. Sam laughed and said "Ako nga wala nun eh" T`was something like that. They`re called the Concepcion Brothers daw.  They sang "When you look me in the eyes" and Sam did a great job at the intro then said "Joke lang". Hahaha. Then it was Cheska`s floor. She got Kuya Kevinand Kuya Noryhel off their seats and invited them to dance with her on stage. Kuya Noryhel kept on taking pictures on stage! Super laughtrip! And it made Cheska to say in a pa"joke" way. "Ano ba yan picture ng picture!" 
Then HSM people`s turn. Then the cake came in after they sang. Where Sam`s face literally swam in! Hahahaha.
 After a few, he sang a Justin Timberlake song. He made me stand up. Then when I was about to, I fell. Hahaha. Sam made quite a chuckle that it made me blush. : Then when he was singing So sick, he was looking at me while singing the first verse! :) Kilig much? Then he did some singing. :)Oh. I had my picture with Mikee Lee. :) Oh. I had my picture with Mikee Lee. :) 
I was home at 11:45pm. Stayed inside my room until 3am. We went to Edsa at 3 to drop my dad off. I was home by around 4:30. Then at 5am, I went to Ate Jenny`s place to continue my bonding with the SCCs. My, there were a lot of them there! But most of them are asleep already. Until a few minutes, all of them, are asleep! Proves me to be a real SCC vampire. :) At around 6-7am, they started waking up. We had breakfast. Pansit cooked by Ate Jenny. :) Yummy! Then after that I bonded with Shar, Ate Jenny, Janelle, Marz and Aliah. We laughed hard as if there`s no tomorrow and joked about ramdom stuff. We were also persuading Lolo Dave to tell us where Betty La Fea shoot! After a while it was time to leave. It seems like leaving isn`t a part of our plan. But we have to.
The day ended well. As though it was just a dream. Seriously! When I got home, I felt like I`m in a dream. If it was, I would not like to wake up! Hahaha. Meeting a lot of SCCs isn`t what I was expecting. And Sam moment, even more, wasn`t expected. Truly, SCC is not just having privelages that the other Samsters don`t have. SCC is truly a family. I found comfort and home when I`m with SCCs (Naks.) I will never regret my membership with this FAMILY. :) And ofcourse, supporting Sam shouldn`t be regreted as well. :)

Sam's first major solo concert was indeed very successful as people flocked the concert venue just to celebrate with him. It was Sam's way of saying “thank you” to all those who supported him ever since he started in show business.
The show opened with Sam's baby and recent pictures flashed on screen while his parents were recalling these moments as a way of introducing the birthday celebrator. And when the last photo was shown, a temporary darkness ensued, Sam came out singing his opening number and the crowd went wild.
Most of the repertoire that Sam sang during his birthday concert was a showcase of what he has already achieved as an artist. Sam brainstormed and worked with the production team in choosing the songs he'll be performing. The lineup of songs included selected numbers from Footloose and High School Musical where he was much applauded.
But his most amazing and show stopping number was when he did his finale of a Michael Jackson medley where he also danced like the king of pop.
There were also sweet moments with Sam when he serenaded some of the female audience members and sang some ballads while giving them roses and chocolates. Some lucky ladies even got to kiss Sam. The crowd also cheered for one of Sam's special guests, Cheska Ortega. And when they performed “Breaking Free” together, the night became even more romantic.
The girls in the audience held their breath when Sam was about to reveal his crush. Some of them were even screaming their own names while some were shouting “Cheska,” but when Sam mentioned the name “Ella” and the audience heard the opening tunes of “Umbrella,” they just laughed and danced with him. Another funny moment was the friendly bantering of Sam and Iñaki Ting before the latter sang his first single “Ganun Ba?”
At the end of the show, people asked for an encore and Sam did not fail his audience. He performed “Kung Fu Fighting” and his carrier single “Even If” where everybody joined him in singing and grooving. It was one of the best parts of the concert for Sam, but what he really considers memorable was when he performed with his two elder brothers Red and Kevin in the number “When You Look Me in the Eyes” a la the famed Jonas Brothers. They absolutely looked fantastic together and the Concepcion brothers may not be far from happening in the future.
It was indeed a very happy birthday for Sam. “I'm just ecstatic tonight,” he shared. “It's the greatest birthday gift I have ever received. All the people I never thought would come tonight are here. It's like performing for everyone I know.” And given the very limited time that Sam had in preparing for the concert, he was still able to make his supporters very happy.
“This concert is just one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done so far,” Sam added. “Everything just seemed to fall into place and I learned something tonight. I realized that this is something that I want to do--inspiring people with music and dance.” In the future, Sam dreams of working with some of the country's greatest performers like his idol Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano or Billy Crawford, or international star Chris Brown in a venue with thousands of people watching them.
The future surely looks very bright and promising for the young talent. Just like what he said that night before the show officially ended, “this is certainly just the beginning of something great.” People can definitely expect another major concert soon.

NAG-ENJOY kami sa I'll Find Your Heart, ang first solo/birthday concert ni Sam Concepcion nu'ng Sabado sa Music Museum.  Puno ang venue ng mga bagets na karamihan ay teenage girls, na panay ang tilian at kilig-kiligan kay Sam. Pati guests ni Sam ay halos puro bagets din. Cute 'yung bokalista ng teen band na Fire Exit na si Adam, kaya klik na klik ito sa girls. Bago umentra ang Little Big Star champion ay ipinakita sa screen ang growing up photos niya habang may voice-over narration ang kanyang mommy at daddy. 8-anyos lang si Samuel Lawrence Lopez Concepcion nang magsimula siyang magteatro sa Trumpets production ng The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Ang bilis ng panahon dahil 16-anyos na siya nu'ng Oktubre 17. Grabe ang hiyawan ng audience paglabas ni Sam na bumanat ng Wake Me Up Before You Go, Go at Footloose. Tama si Gary V. sa pagpuri niya kay Sam dahil para itong teen version niya na very energetic at hyper mag-perform. Sey ni Sam, ang pagpunta ng fans sa kanyang concert ang best birthday gift he has ever received. Dati raw ay toys lang ang pinaglalaruan niya, ngayon ay ang stage na ang kanyang playground. Bukod sa maganda ang breeding, mahusay magsalita at magaling mag-Ingles ay charming si Sam at mukhang good boy. Hindi kataka-takang type na type siya ng mga kapwa niya bagets at role model siya ng kabataan. Gusto namin ang version niya ng With You at Umbrella with matching patawa. In fairness ay may humor ang bagets at maganda ang rapport niya sa audience. May special song number si Sam kasama ang kanyang Kuya Red (23 y/o) at Kuya Kevin (22 y/o) na tulad niya ay umaawit din at nagteteatro. Kung meron daw Jonas Brothers ay meron ding Concepcion Brothers. Kinanta ng magkakapatid ang hit song ng Jonas Brothers na When You Look Me In The Eyes. Sayang at hindi kasing-cute ni Sam ang mga kuya niya. Guest din ang leading lady ni Sam sa High School Musical On Stage na si Cheska Ortega. Sinorpresa siya ng mga kasamahan niya sa nasabing musical at sama-sama silang nag-perform ng HSM songs. Type namin ang pagkakaawit ni Sam sa Go On Girl, So Sick, Because of You at Imagine ala David Archuleta. Sana, kinanta niya rin ang debut single ni Archu na Crush dahil bagay 'yon sa boses niya. Dapat ay naglagay rin ng kahit isang Gary V song sa kanyang repertoire. Bongga ang finale number ni Sam na Michael Jackson medley. Feel na feel niya ang pag-awit sa hit songs ng idol niyang si MJ na I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Rock With You at Billie Jean. Tilian ang audience nang mag-moonwalk ang bagets. Ang lakas ng sigaw ng "More!!" ng bagets crowd, kaya nag-encore pa si Sam ng Kung Fu Fighting at ng single niyang Even If mula sa kanyang debut album. Sa edad niyang disisais ay kayang-kaya nang magdala ng sarili niyang show si Sam.

Last September 13, I celebrated my first ever birthday at SCC. Truth to be told, September 16 was the actual date of my birthday but I decided the celebration on that day because Sam has a show at SM Sucat and I was planning on going there.
Originally, all the members of D’anothers were to go to Sucat but unfortunately, some of us has more important things to attend to so our Get Together was cancelled that day.
Bea and I planned to go to Sucat late because both of us are busy in some school stuff. At 2:00 PM, I arrived at her house but she isn’t there yet thus, I waited for her for 30 minutes. While waiting, I texted Kuya Noriel to ask if it will be okay for him to wait for us so we can all go together. Half an hour later, Bea arrived at her house and 5 minutes after, we headed for 7-11 Rotonda to convene with Kuya Noriel. We met up with him then set off to the MRT Station at Shaw. We alighted at the North Avenue station and converged with Aileen there. The four of us departed to Sucat right away.
We arrived at SM Sucat 20 minutes past four. Obviously, we were late for the show. While walking to the venue, we all wondered who’s going to be there. We all bet that it will still be the same folks who are always going to Sam’s gigs. As anticipated, we were right. We immediately saw our fellow Samsters, Ate Sarah, Ate Yen, Janelle and three other persons I don’t know. Those whom I didn’t know introduced theirselves to Bea and I. Minutes later, the show ended and us Samsters went straight to Karate Kid(which is right beside the show’s venue) to eat ‘coz we are all starving. Sam also went to KK whereas Kuya Noriel and Ate Sarah were invited to be at Sam’s table. Before munching, Aileen bought me a cake so that it will really look like it’s my birthday. J While we are all eating, I sensed that Kuya Noriel is planning something (which was actually true.haha!) because they kept on looking at me while I gobble on my food. They even asked me to wave to some of the Elites they were talking to. “I smell something fishy...” I thought.
As I was still devoured on my provisions, I noticed Sam walked over the counter to have some picture taken with the staff, at first, I thought he was about to go but I was surprised to see him walking over our table! As I swallowed a mouthful of steak into my mouth, (that’s because of shock, truly.haha) he tapped me on my shoulders and as I looked around, I found SAM looking at me and he said, “Hi Rham! Happy Birthday! How old are you?” At first, I didn’t understand the “how old are you” part ‘coz he sort of mumbled it. Haha. Then I said, “Thanks! Ahm, huh?” “Ilan taon ka na?” he answered back. “Oh, 15. I’m 15.” I replied while smiling wildly. “That’s cool… Blah blah blah” I forgot the other things that he said, haha. After some talking, Picture-taking time! I suddenly found myself looking into more than a dozen cameras at our way. Every one was taking our photo. Haha! I’m in the spotlight today! A bit later, I gave the other Samsters a chance to also have their picture taken with Sam. Every Samster who approaches him, Sam always says, “Happy Birthday!” haha.. And after some time, it was Sam’s time to go, the crowd parted as he passed by. Then there he is, going, going and gone. Whew, I can’t believe it. Then I saw Tita Gene walking over us and asking, “Asan yung may birthday?” then I approached her. She greeted me, shook my hand then walked away. Haha. I feel so fortunate! ‘Coz in all of the SCC members, Tita Gene knows only a few of us. And now I’m lucky enough to be one of them.
While we were walking, I still can’t believe what had just happened. Sam approaching, Sam talking to me, Sam putting his arms over my shoulders, Tita Gene’s greetings. Everything just seems like a dream. A dream that came into reality.
As we walk away from SM Sucat, disregarding all the noise that I have been hearing, I was trying to focus, to concentrate, to fix everything in my mind forever.

Sam Concepcion was the main cause of this entire undergo. We are filled of intent to be one of his fans. Lately, just to recognize us, as we are
his supporters, on the date April 20, 2006, we were gone astray perceiving, what if we will make a fans club that will really be effective, and we
want to experience such this. So we stood up our co-friends that were Samsters too.
Samsters: a collectively word used to describe Sam Concepcion Fans.
Accordingly, the Samsters Clique name will be the foremost, and its objective is to help fans receive updates without using the Online
Internets or while they cannot use, easily just join our clan. Sort of new updates: gigs, shows, advertisements and others will be given.
Continually to recruit members, we posted our numbers to the Sam site, Friendster, Yahoo groups and other link. We also made our own
banners, yahoo groups, friendster and sites. With that aim of, we obtained and contained as many as members that an ordinary clan can’t
have. A couple of days we are now more than a hundreds, each day, we accept new members, send fresh updates, exchange remarkable
stories and enhance immense friendships. Till now we are alive and kicking.

Sam made quite a chuckle that it made me blush. : Then when he was singing So sick, he was looking at me while singing the first verse! :) Kilig much? Then he did some singing. :)Oh. I was home at 11:45pm. Stayed inside my room until 3am. We went to Edsa at 3 to drop my dad off. I was home by around 4:30. Then at 5am, I went to Ate Jenny`s place to continue my bonding with the SCCs. My, there were a lot of them there! But most of them are asleep already. Until a few minutes, all of them, are asleep! Proves me to be a real SCC vampire. :) At around 6-7am, they started waking up. We had breakfast. Pansit cooked by Ate Jenny. :) Yummy! Then after that I bonded with Shar, Ate Jenny, Janelle, Marz and Aliah. We laughed hard as if there`s no tomorrow and joked about ramdom stuff. We were also persuading Lolo Dave to tell us where Betty La Fea shoot! After a while it was time to leave. It seems like leaving isn`t a part of our plan. But we have to.
The day ended well. As though it was just a dream. Seriously! When I got home, I felt like I`m in a dream. If it was, I would not like to wake up! Hahaha. Meeting a lot of SCCs isn`t what I was expecting. And Sam moment, even more, wasn`t expected. Truly, SCC is not just having privelages that the other Samsters don`t have. SCC is truly a family. I found comfort and home when I`m with SCCs (Naks.) I will never regret my membership with this FAMILY. :) And ofcourse, supporting Sam shouldn`t be regreted as well. :)

Sam's first major solo concert was indeed very successful as people flocked the concert venue just to celebrate with him. It was Sam's way of saying “thank you” to all those who supported him ever since he started in show business.
The show opened with Sam's baby and recent pictures flashed on screen while his parents were recalling these moments as a way of introducing the birthday celebrator. And when the last photo was shown, a temporary darkness ensued, Sam came out singing his opening number and the crowd went wild.
Most of the repertoire that Sam sang during his birthday concert was a showcase of what he has already achieved as an artist. Sam brainstormed and worked with the production team in choosing the songs he'll be performing. The lineup of songs included selected numbers from Footloose and High School Musical where he was much applauded.
But his most amazing and show stopping number was when he did his finale of a Michael Jackson medley where he also danced like the king of pop.
There were also sweet moments with Sam when he serenaded some of the female audience members and sang some ballads while giving them roses and chocolates. Some lucky ladies even got to kiss Sam. The crowd also cheered for one of Sam's special guests, Cheska Ortega. And when they performed “Breaking Free” together, the night became even more romantic.
The girls in the audience held their breath when Sam was about to reveal his crush. Some of them were even screaming their own names while some were shouting “Cheska,” but when Sam mentioned the name “Ella” and the audience heard the opening tunes of “Umbrella,” they just laughed and danced with him. Another funny moment was the friendly bantering of Sam and Iñaki Ting before the latter sang his first single “Ganun Ba?”
At the end of the show, people asked for an encore and Sam did not fail his audience. He performed “Kung Fu Fighting” and his carrier single “Even If” where everybody joined him in singing and grooving. It was one of the best parts of the concert for Sam, but what he really considers memorable was when he performed with his two elder brothers Red and Kevin in the number “When You Look Me in the Eyes” a la the famed Jonas Brothers. They absolutely looked fantastic together and the Concepcion brothers may not be far from happening in the future.
It was indeed a very happy birthday for Sam. “I'm just ecstatic tonight,” he shared. “It's the greatest birthday gift I have ever received. All the people I never thought would come tonight are here. It's like performing for everyone I know.” And given the very limited time that Sam had in preparing for the concert, he was still able to make his supporters very happy.
“This concert is just one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done so far,” Sam added. “Everything just seemed to fall into place and I learned something tonight. I realized that this is something that I want to do--inspiring people with music and dance.” In the future, Sam dreams of working with some of the country's greatest performers like his idol Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano or Billy Crawford, or international star Chris Brown in a venue with thousands of people watching them.
The future surely looks very bright and promising for the young talent. Just like what he said that night before the show officially ended, “this is certainly just the beginning of something great.” People can definitely expect another major concert soon.

NAG-ENJOY kami sa I'll Find Your Heart, ang first solo/birthday concert ni Sam Concepcion nu'ng Sabado sa Music Museum. Puno ang venue ng mga bagets na karamihan ay teenage girls, na panay ang tilian at kilig-kiligan kay Sam. Pati guests ni Sam ay halos puro bagets din. Cute 'yung bokalista ng teen band na Fire Exit na si Adam, kaya klik na klik ito sa girls. Bago umentra ang Little Big Star champion ay ipinakita sa screen ang growing up photos niya habang may voice-over narration ang kanyang mommy at daddy. 8-anyos lang si Samuel Lawrence Lopez Concepcion nang magsimula siyang magteatro sa Trumpets production ng The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Ang bilis ng panahon dahil 16-anyos na siya nu'ng Oktubre 17. Grabe ang hiyawan ng audience paglabas ni Sam na bumanat ng Wake Me Up Before You Go, Go at Footloose. Tama si Gary V. sa pagpuri niya kay Sam dahil para itong teen version niya na very energetic at hyper mag-perform. Sey ni Sam, ang pagpunta ng fans sa kanyang concert ang best birthday gift he has ever received. Dati raw ay toys lang ang pinaglalaruan niya, ngayon ay ang stage na ang kanyang playground. Bukod sa maganda ang breeding, mahusay magsalita at magaling mag-Ingles ay charming si Sam at mukhang good boy. Hindi kataka-takang type na type siya ng mga kapwa niya bagets at role model siya ng kabataan. Gusto namin ang version niya ng With You at Umbrella with matching patawa. In fairness ay may humor ang bagets at maganda ang rapport niya sa audience. May special song number si Sam kasama ang kanyang Kuya Red (23 y/o) at Kuya Kevin (22 y/o) na tulad niya ay umaawit din at nagteteatro. Kung meron daw Jonas Brothers ay meron ding Concepcion Brothers. Kinanta ng magkakapatid ang hit song ng Jonas Brothers na When You Look Me In The Eyes. Sayang at hindi kasing-cute ni Sam ang mga kuya niya. Guest din ang leading lady ni Sam sa High School Musical On Stage na si Cheska Ortega. Sinorpresa siya ng mga kasamahan niya sa nasabing musical at sama-sama silang nag-perform ng HSM songs. Type namin ang pagkakaawit ni Sam sa Go On Girl, So Sick, Because of You at Imagine ala David Archuleta. Sana, kinanta niya rin ang debut single ni Archu na Crush dahil bagay 'yon sa boses niya. Dapat ay naglagay rin ng kahit isang Gary V song sa kanyang repertoire. Bongga ang finale number ni Sam na Michael Jackson medley. Feel na feel niya ang pag-awit sa hit songs ng idol niyang si MJ na I Just Can't Stop Loving You, Rock With You at Billie Jean. Tilian ang audience nang mag-moonwalk ang bagets. Ang lakas ng sigaw ng "More!!" ng bagets crowd, kaya nag-encore pa si Sam ng Kung Fu Fighting at ng single niyang Even If mula sa kanyang debut album. Sa edad niyang disisais ay kayang-kaya nang magdala ng sarili niyang show si Sam.

Last September 13, I celebrated my first ever birthday at SCC. Truth to be told, September 16 was the actual date of my birthday but I decided the celebration on that day because Sam has a show at SM Sucat and I was planning on going there.
Originally, all the members of D’anothers were to go to Sucat but unfortunately, some of us has more important things to attend to so our Get Together was cancelled that day.
Bea and I planned to go to Sucat late because both of us are busy in some school stuff. At 2:00 PM, I arrived at her house but she isn’t there yet thus, I waited for her for 30 minutes. While waiting, I texted Kuya Noriel to ask if it will be okay for him to wait for us so we can all go together. Half an hour later, Bea arrived at her house and 5 minutes after, we headed for 7-11 Rotonda to convene with Kuya Noriel. We met up with him then set off to the MRT Station at Shaw. We alighted at the North Avenue station and converged with Aileen there. The four of us departed to Sucat right away.
We arrived at SM Sucat 20 minutes past four. Obviously, we were late for the show. While walking to the venue, we all wondered who’s going to be there. We all bet that it will still be the same folks who are always going to Sam’s gigs. As anticipated, we were right. We immediately saw our fellow Samsters, Ate Sarah, Ate Yen, Janelle and three other persons I don’t know. Those whom I didn’t know introduced theirselves to Bea and I. Minutes later, the show ended and us Samsters went straight to Karate Kid(which is right beside the show’s venue) to eat ‘coz we are all starving. Sam also went to KK whereas Kuya Noriel and Ate Sarah were invited to be at Sam’s table. Before munching, Aileen bought me a cake so that it will really look like it’s my birthday. J While we are all eating, I sensed that Kuya Noriel is planning something (which was actually true.haha!) because they kept on looking at me while I gobble on my food. They even asked me to wave to some of the Elites they were talking to. “I smell something fishy...” I thought.
As I was still devoured on my provisions, I noticed Sam walked over the counter to have some picture taken with the staff, at first, I thought he was about to go but I was surprised to see him walking over our table! As I swallowed a mouthful of steak into my mouth, (that’s because of shock, truly.haha) he tapped me on my shoulders and as I looked around, I found SAM looking at me and he said, “Hi Rham! Happy Birthday! How old are you?” At first, I didn’t understand the “how old are you” part ‘coz he sort of mumbled it. Haha. Then I said, “Thanks! Ahm, huh?” “Ilan taon ka na?” he answered back. “Oh, 15. I’m 15.” I replied while smiling wildly. “That’s cool… Blah blah blah” I forgot the other things that he said, haha. After some talking, Picture-taking time! I suddenly found myself looking into more than a dozen cameras at our way. Every one was taking our photo. Haha! I’m in the spotlight today! A bit later, I gave the other Samsters a chance to also have their picture taken with Sam. Every Samster who approaches him, Sam always says, “Happy Birthday!” haha.. And after some time, it was Sam’s time to go, the crowd parted as he passed by. Then there he is, going, going and gone. Whew, I can’t believe it. Then I saw Tita Gene walking over us and asking, “Asan yung may birthday?” then I approached her. She greeted me, shook my hand then walked away. Haha. I feel so fortunate! ‘Coz in all of the SCC members, Tita Gene knows only a few of us. And now I’m lucky enough to be one of them.
While we were walking, I still can’t believe what had just happened. Sam approaching, Sam talking to me, Sam putting his arms over my shoulders, Tita Gene’s greetings. Everything just seems like a dream. A dream that came into reality.
As we walk away from SM Sucat, disregarding all the noise that I have been hearing, I was trying to focus, to concentrate, to fix everything in my mind forever.
