It is an annual approach for all Samster Cliques’ to celebrate the anniversary or the birth of its foundation and the big part of it was the preparation. It’s been a tradition that cannot be neglected, such source of gathering for Samsters to know each other and create a dramatic sense of friendships. The whole thing that binds the group is cooperation and harmony. Most of the members are very compliant to be aware of what is the main group to be, how it works, the activities and the zealot itself.
The officers planned to celebrate the anniversary with a different twist for summer. It was kind a summer preparation in our hottie day, where the officers meant to do it in a vast pool party fete. Guess what, the warm feeling of sun is boring! And a swimming party is whooping way out for that.
The event happened in Greenwoods, Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City in a private pool last April 18, 2008, two days before the real anniversary. The place is great for all SCC to celebrate the party. There are attractive cottages, one big pool, grilling place, two shower rooms, small zoo and a cute parrot bird always do know what to say is “panget”. Halfway, the place is far for those who are outside Metro Manila but the very reason is to continue the blast. The blast started at 10pm and ended at 5pm, short time gathering produced bulky moments.
Mentioning the participants, Marz, Noriel, Yhen, Sarah, Chloe, Kevin, Teenah, Ada, Sia and her cousin, Angela, Pau, Gernie, Joyce Sien, Bea, Bety, Rham, Jen and Madz(I am). Anyone I forgot? This gang is pleasing to be with; despite of having their own cliques, they are still approachable to some other members. They are all naughty, “kulitan” and “kasiyahan” can’t ever forget by all of us, and most by me. Friendships can’t be exchange even with the most valuable material here in the world, right? Hopefully correct.
The party started with games, the first one is called “stone relay in the pool” where the members are group into two. They did different strategies for them to win the prize. And the winner is team 2, (Pau, Angela, Joyce, Chloe, Betty, Sia and Sien)! The next game called “wrestling something” commanded by three pairs, Yhen and Gernie vs. Teenah and Chloe at first round. Teenah and Chloe wins! 2nd Round, Teenah and Chloe vs. Sien and Gernie, and the winner is…. Teenah and Chloe again! Congrats! And the party did some other games, “hanapan sa pool”, “hilahan sa pool”, “patagalan sa paghinga” and ect. After those breaking head games, eating time was after then. Deliciously foods are especially prepared by Yhen Vasquez. The unforgettable dough bread formed letters which handed with our names, special cooked adobo, grilled hotdogs and barbeque by Chloe, Kevin, Sarah and Gernie, commercial rice I brought, delightful pancit donated by Sien, Bety, Rham and Jen, to gallons of water with orange tetra pack juice of Noriel and Sarah, and mouthwatering banana split made by Yhen. Foods got our tummy fulled! Lastly, the forum matter I planned for. This matter mesmerized SCC to reveal what is asked. And overall it was fun. And the person what we were waiting for was replaced by Lolo Dave, the standing handler of Samsters today.
The fun is over! We need to get back in our own true lives at home and more chilling anniversary hopefully for us to wait. Congratulations Samsters Clique Clan in a successful gathering, more years for us to come.
